"Forty years ago, in 1986, the world bid farewell to the Rev Teddy Boston. Immortalised as the Fat Clergyman in the Thomas the Tank Engine stories, Teddy Boston built and operated the 2’0″ gauge Cadeby Light Railway around the village rectory gardens.
